Attending Abolitionist Events Will Change Your Life!

About two years after God saved me, I started ministering at an abortion clinic where I met a small group of people – faithful Christians who called themselves abolitionists.

Despite being unfamiliar with the term at first, as I became more involved with the group, reading, watching, and learning, I realized that I too was an abolitionist.

My first conference experience was in 2020, and despite my fear of flying, I decided to attend. Looking back, I am incredibly grateful that I did! At the conference, I had the privilege of meeting, connecting with, and forming friendships with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who shared my passion for ending the abortion holocaust. It was then that I realized our small local group was just a small part of a much larger movement spanning across regions. This was refreshing because being an abolitionist, our beliefs and the way we confront this culture of death are often met with skepticism, even within churches – including the one we belonged to at the time.

Shortly after that conference, we launched The Imago Dei Ministry, and it was our abolitionist friends who played a pivotal role in getting us off the ground. They provided initial funds, invaluable advice, and unwavering encouragement every step of the way.

While our ministry takes us to various conferences throughout the year, this particular conference holds a special place in our hearts. It's the one we eagerly anticipate and wouldn't dream of missing for anything! It's truly difficult to put into words the profound experience of worshiping, working, and fellowshipping with fellow warriors who are in the trenches with you, who understand the struggles you face. The late-night conversations on theology, ministry, and witnessing God's work firsthand provide a unique kind of encouragement that words can't fully capture.

As we prepare for our 4th conference, I find myself counting down the days until I can reunite with my brothers and sisters, worship with them, work alongside them, learn from them, grow with them, and share in both laughter and tears. I invite you to join us and be part of this movement! I can say with certainty, based on my own experience, that you will not regret it!.
