T. Russell Hunter is an outspoken leader within the abolitionist movement and the founder of organizations such as Abolitionists Rising and was a central figure in the re-ignition of abolitionism, and the instigation of Abolish Human Abortion. Based in Oklahoma, he has spent over a decade advocating for the total and immediate abolition of abortion, distinguishing his "providential" approach from the pragmatic "incrementalism" of the mainstream pro-life movement.

Hunter holds a Master’s degree in the History of Science from the University of Oklahoma. In addition to his activism and public debating, Hunter is a talented artist who creates much of the visual media and artwork used to spread abolitionist ideas. He and his wife, Katherine, have been married since 2005 and have four children on earth, and two children in heaven.
