North Dakota currently protects the murder of preborn children up to 20 weeks, at which point it becomes illegal except to protect the life of the mother. North Dakota has a trigger law which banned abortion for abortionists from conception with exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother once Roe was overturned. That law (N.D. Code § 12.1-31-12) is currently held up in State court.
