What A Trump Vote Scripturally Represents

I am dead serious about this, please read this long message. I think we are in an Isaiah 30 situation, and I think it is abundantly clear scripturally what a Trump vote represents. I'm not a naturally pessimistic person, and I still am hopeful in many regards, but what I see now is a mass deception that will result in our utter humiliation. We are the stubborn children who have gone down to Egypt and sought protection from Pharaoh.

"And now, go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever."

Clearly, God wanted this to stand as a witness for Christians forever. Beyond writing it in His Holy Word ensuring that would happen, He attaches strong statements like this to it.

"Who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right; speak to us smooth things, prophesy illusions."

I think we are in for humiliation. We have been begging for it for a long time, and the voice of innocent blood cries out from the ground for us, that justice would be done corporately on America. We seek smooth words, words of peace that will result from our schemes instead of trusting in God! We ask the men of God to tell us peace instead of disaster! We are filled with anger by those who tell us the truth!

"Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, “Because you despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness and rely on them, therefore this iniquity shall be to you like a breach in a high wall, bulging out and about to collapse, whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant."

We have had so much time of warning, so much time of patience, and yet the Christian church and our leaders have kept to apathetic subservience to wicked men and sought out wicked devices. The downfall of America may be swift like this, but we can already see the cracks in the dam forming. We can see the national debt skyrocketing, the invasion at the border, the reckless bureaucrats making themselves fat and comfortable on the backs of this people. We deserve what we have gotten, but it is only the first fruits of what is to come.

"For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” But you were unwilling."

The Lord calls us to a rest and peace in him, in His power and His might, and we have turned aside as they did, continued in the next verse: and you said, “No! We will flee upon horses”; therefore you shall flee away; and, “We will ride upon swift steeds”; therefore your pursuers shall be swift.

It is abundantly clear to me that we are committing the same sins and seeking the same solutions. We are, as they did, trusting in chariots and warhorses.

"Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the Lord!"

Why do we trust in pagan kings for peace, and the blood of human sacrifice for protection, to a man vowed to keep the temple whoredom and blood flowing? Trump has worked to make himself a perfect comparison this election! And when the time came for the Christian church to reject the first openly pro-abortion GOP candidate, whoring for him was the substitute!

"The Egyptians are man, and not God, and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out His hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together"

With him those who seek protection from him will stumble and suffer the same calamity. The protection of Egypt will result in our shame!

"For the Lord is enraged against all the nations, and furious against all their host; He has devoted them to destruction, has given them over for slaughter. Their slain shall be cast out, and the stench of their corpses shall rise; the mountains shall flow with their blood."

The anger of the Lord is not exclusive to Israel, it is for all nations! We are mentioned in Isaiah, and OUR SIN will be judged!

"Whom are you mocking? Against whom do you open your mouth wide and stick out your tongue? Are you not children of transgression, the offspring of deceit, you who burn with lust among the oaks, under every green tree, who slaughter your children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks? Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they, are your lot; to them you have poured out a drink offering, you have brought a grain offering. Shall I relent for these things?" "

Isaiah is nearly concluded with these words above. Is there a better description of us? A perverse, porn-addicted, hormonally homicidal people in every pew? A palpable apathy in every eye to the destruction wrought by this people? We have reason to be terribly afraid, not of the democrats, but of the terrible anger of God. I don't know how much longer this people can fill the cup of God's wrath reserved for us. And this election season has served to show exactly how wicked and black-hearted this nation has become. We clamor for the man of child sacrifice, the sexual pervert who takes whores. We call him king. It is reprehensible what we have done and are so very blind to it. That is why I see almost every warning as not urgent enough. I don't know how to communicate it well all the time, but I know we have to work harder to warn and admonish. God would turn to the repentant cry of his people! He would relent! He would show mercy! But we haven't sought it. We think men wiser and more powerful than God, but His justice and destruction is sure. God have mercy.
